Join Us In Bible Study:

My goal is to start small in-depth Bible studies, using group discipleship and worship in the home, where everyone can participate and have input as equal believers in search of the Truth, and guenuine fellowship as experienced by the Early Believers. I can teach and delve into the original languages, the history, the customs, prophecy, archaeology and a multitude of other disciplines essential to learning the Bible; all from a non-denominational perspective. This ministry is dedicated to correct interpretation and application of scripture in a friendly and informal atmosphere in homes. If you live within driving distance of Grant, or Huntsville, Alabama, and want to study the Bible in-depth, then contact me at I will be glad to talk to you. I am trying to set up Bible study groups now.
We are also working on doing conference Bible Study Sessions via phone or internet.

2 Peter 1:19  We have also a more sure word of prophecy (the Bible); whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
20.  Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21.  For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

God wrote the Bible. He used men to do it. It's His word and it's accurate in the original languages. The problem is that we speak English and have to translate the Bible into our language. That means we have to study the languages to get an accurate translation. Languages change over time, which means we have to re-translate occasionally as our old language becomes obsolete. Its confusing, I know. But we also learn new things over time that affect our understanding of the translation, or there may be a better way to express it. If I make the Bible say what I want it to say, and I do not try to present what God is saying, and then I have violated the command and created a private interpretation. By being accurate and translating literally and exactly what the original languages are saying, I come closer to understanding what God is saying so that I can properly apply the word to my life.

This site promotes a hyper literal translation wherever possible. This means that all scripture is to be translated and taken as literally as possible unless there is some reason not to take it that way. These are letters from God and letters are always read literally.

Translation work is not for wimps. It's also not for cheaters. Accuracy is essential. Unfortunately, some Bible translators are not even believers - what does that say for accuracy? The English is inspired only to the extent that it is properly translated. The Bible is sacred and must be properly translated into English to maintain as much inspiration as possible. Truth must agree with Truth as we said in our verse above:

2 Timothy 2:15  Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (interpreting) the word of truth.
